Historic Case to Challenge BBC’s 9/11 Coverage
On February 25, in the small town of Horsham in the United Kingdom, there will be a rare and potentially groundbreaking opportunity for the 9/11 truth movement. Three hours of detailed 9/11 evidence is to be presented and considered in a court of law where the British Broadcasting Corporation (BBC) will be challenged over the inaccurate and biased manner in which it has portrayed the events and evidence of 9/11.Over the last 16 months, BBC has been challenged strongly by individuals in the UK over two documentaries that they showed in September 2011 as part of the tenth anniversary of 9/11, namely ‘9/11: Conspiracy Road Trip’ and ‘The Conspiracy Files: 9/11 Ten Years On’. Formal complaints were lodged with BBC over the inaccuracy and bias of these documentaries, which, according to 9/11 activists, was in breach of the operating requirements of BBC through their ‘Royal Charter and Agreement’ with the British public. This document requires BBC to show information that is both accurate and impartial. These complaints were supported by the US-based educational charity Architects & Engineers for 9/11 Truth (AE911Truth), which submitted detailed scientific evidence to BBC to buttress the complaints. The evidence focuses in particular on the confirmed free-fall of WTC 7 and NIST's 2008 admission of this fact. In addition, over 300 AE911Truth petition signers supported these complaints by sending letters to BBC, requesting that BBC show this evidence to the public.

Canon takes augmented reality to next dimension (Dipping our toe into the Matrix)
Canon has shown off more details with its 3D take on augmented reality. It looks like an impressive but expensive technology that might be a solution in search of a problem.The system is dubbed MREAL, standing for Mixed Reality, and goes on sale on March 1. It’s the same basic concept as augmented reality, which uses a screen or glasses to overlay graphics or text on a picture of the real world.
The MREAL system uses a headset with two cameras placed directly in front of the eyes to capture what the user would see without the equipment. It then combines these images to make a 3D picture, adds on the computer generated material, and then produces a 3D image shown to the user on a screen that lies between the cameras and their eyes.

Authorities investigate whether man may have died from spontaneous combustion
Family members found 65-year-old Danny Vanzandt dead on Monday inside his home near Muldrow. "The body was burned and it was incinerated," said Sheriff Lockhart. He said he believes the death could be a rare case of spontaneous human combustion. "I think there's only about 200 cases worldwide and I'm not saying that this has happened I'm just saying that we haven't ruled it out."

Entire web is just “19 clicks” wide
The claim comes from Albert-Laszlo Barabasi of Northeastern University in a study published in Philosophical Transactions of the Royal Society. He specializes in network theory, both among humans and in tech.
19 clicks may seem a short maximum chain among an estimated 14 billion pages online, but Barbasi says two key factors make it work. The first is that its humans who decide what should go on a particular web page, and we tend to organize information in multiple logical ways. When we create a new page, we may categorize it as fitting into a particular topic, a geographical location, an organization, or any combination of these issues. This gives it a natural connection with several different types of other page, increasing the chance of a link between the two.
The other factor is the existence of aggregator sites such as Reddit which provide an indirect link between thousands of otherwise unconnected sites. They effectively act as directories rather than search engines, which aren’t counted: Barbasi was looking specifically at clickable links rather than having to type terms to continue the navigation.

Many children who suffer from neglect or abuse from their parents nonetheless manage to grow up into decent adults. Question is, do they owe anything to these bad parents?What do we owe our tormentors? It’s a question that haunts those who had childhoods marked by years of neglect and deprivation, or of psychological, physical, and sexual abuse at the hands of one or both parents. Despite this terrible beginning, many people make it out successfully and go on to build satisfying lives. Now their mother or father is old, maybe ailing, possibly broke. With a sense of guilt and dread, these adults are grappling with whether and how to care for those who didn’t care for them.
Emily Yoffe of Slate wrote an interesting article exploring the question of whether grown children of neglectful or abusive parents have any obligation to take care those who didn't even fulfill their own.

Hitler's toilet in a New Jersey auto shop
Greg Kohfeldt, owner of Kohfeldt's Auto Repair in Florence, said the toilet was installed by the previous owner of the shop in the 1950s and came from the German dictator's favorite yacht, the Aviso Grille, The Times, Trenton, N.J., reported Monday.
The yacht was commissioned in December 1934 and was taken by the British following World War II. The vessel was stripped down for scrap in the early 1950s and the toilet and sink ended up at the auto repair shop, which Kohfeldt purchased 19 years ago, the report said.
Kohfeldt said the toilet and sink would draw one or two visitors each month and the number jumps to six to 12 people a month whenever the items appear on TV or in print media.
Vegas woman arrested for sex with pit bull
A Las Vegas woman was arrested Tuesday after authorities caught her
having sex with a pit bull in her back yard, according to Metro police.In an arrest report released Wednesday, police said they were called to a home in the 300 block of N. 16th Street, where 23-year-old Kara Vandereyk was engaging in sexual acts with the animal in full view of neighbors.
Police said the woman stood-up and greeted officers with a "Hi".
Vandereyk appeared to be under the influence of drugs or was mentally ill, according to the report.
Police said she could not identify herself and was unable to answer questions about the current date or name of the President of the United States.
Vandereyk is quoted in the report telling officers, "I'm bipolar." She also admitted to taking prescription medication but was not sure if she was on them at the time, police said.
Vandereyk is charged with open and gross lewdness.
The canine was taken into the custody of Animal Control.

American porn actors have the same average height as the general American population, but they weigh much less. Male actors weigh 14 percent less than the average American man, while actresses weigh a whopping 29 percent less than the average American woman.

Judy Viger, 33, hired the women from a company called Tops in Bottoms and arranged for them to perform in a private room at the Spare Time Bowling Center in South Glens Falls on Nov. 3.
At the party, the women performed what police describe as “personal and intimate” dances with the party guests, some of whom were as young as 13.

Couple getting affectionate in car crashed through home
"She told the investigating trooper that her and the boyfriend were getting a little amorous and the trooper suspects that's probably why she lost control of the vehicle," said Florida Highway Patrol spokeswoman Kim Montes.
Walker lost control of the vehicle and slammed into an unoccupied home. The vehicle went all the way through the house. The impact was so dramatic, the pressure blew a window in another part of the house out.

Woman saved pigeon with CPR when he stopped breathing
Denis the pigeon owes his life to Gail Daniell. The Fauna Rescue SA
volunteer from Adelaide, Australia, helped nurse the frail, ant-covered
bird back to health - and she also performed CPR on him. Ms Daniell had
been caring for the crested pigeon for about four days when, during an
attempt to feed him, he started to choke and stopped breathing. "Denis just stopped breathing and I didn't even think twice, I just started with the CPR," Ms Daniell said. "I gave him probably three or four little breaths and pumped his little chest a few times and he started to come back to life. He came to me very sick, covered in ants and in a lot of pain. He was with his little brother, but unfortunately he didn't make it past the first day or so."
